Datum
04 March 2013

17-year-old YONEX hope Nick Kyrgios (EZONE Xi 98) of Australia achieved a great result at Nature’s Way Sydney Tennis International in Sydney last week.

Nick has played bravely with confidence to fight tough opponents although it was just a second challenge for him to enter the ATP Challenger Tour tournament. After defeating No. 6 seed Brydan Klein in the first round by 6-2 6-4, Nick overcame another seeded player Stephane Robert in straight sets by 7-5 6-3 to reach the final. Then in the championship match, he also showed superior performance against Matt Reid to claim his first ATP Challenger Tour title winning by 6-3 6-2. It was his second win in 2013 since he became the junior boys’ singles champion at Australian Open 2013, and Nick’s ATP ranking jumped up to 330 from 559.
